Progress Update 7/22
Tonight I was able to put some work in on the core game code here are some of the results of that time:
- For whatever reason my hourglass was not displaying at all, fixed it and hopefully it stays this time.
- Each of the buttons are now filled with possible choices, one being the correct one.
- Selecting the correct answer plays the correct sound while selecting the wrong answer plays the "wrong" sound
- Saw a lot of code that would be duplicated so utilizing functions for preventing bloated code, theoretically at least.
Still many things to do in order to get the game close to the level it was with blueprints like:
- Timer countdown and rotating hourglass
- Rest of the sounds, like music and game over
- Mimic how I had tries, score and timer before plus out of tries and finishing all rounds
- High score table
- Selecting the number of rounds to play ie short medium long or impossible
With any luck I'll be able to start sharing my progress with playable versions soon.
